Flag Contracts

The Club has sold and serviced flag display contracts since 1970. For $40 a year we display "Old Glory" at many places of business and some residences on nine national holidays. It is with pride that 20 or so Lions regularly put out flags "at dawn's early light" and gather them in oft-hot and windy afternoons. It is a wonderful sight to have several hundred flags gracing Carlsbad's streets.

Gun Raffle

Every year the club raffles off a rifle.

Our Rifle Raffle winner was Lion Charlie Bunch (holding rifle), pictured with (R-L) Lions Johnny Washburn, Karen Robinson, and Gemma Ferguson.

Gumball Machines

Gumball machines located in businesses around Carlsbad, serviced by a contractor, continue to yield proceeds.

Tree Sales

We have an annual tree sale. For a donation people can pick up as many tree saplings as they need for planting.

Football Raffle

In partnership with the Santa Fe club we have an annual football raffle. The tickets are $25 and are good for all 17 weeks of the football season.
